Aftercare

Please read the care instructions carefully.
Getting through the healing phase well is essential for a good result.

You can leave the transparent wound patch on the tattoo for up to 4 days as long as it sticks well. A few hours after the tattoo process, a little colour residue and wound water will collect under the film, so that the tattoo is no longer so clearly visible. However, this is completely normal. Please do not pierce the foil and do not try to squeeze out the wound water from under the foil. If some coloured wound water runs out from under the foil, simply wipe it off with a soft, clean, slightly damp piece of paper. After a while, the wound will calm down and no more water will be produced. Particularly on the back or joints, there may be a greater production of wound water and therefore increased leakage in these areas.

Showering with the film is possible, just make sure that no shower water collects under the film. We do not recommend bathing.
When removing the plaster, it is best to peel it off the skin as flat as possible using warm water. Then carefully rinse off any remaining colour with fresh water. Make sure that no film residue remains on the skin.
This is when your tattoo is at its most sensitive. Wash your hands well before touching it and wear clean clothing in the area of the fresh tattoo. Do not let anyone touch your fresh tattoo.

In very rare cases, an allergic reaction to the adhesive on the foil can occur. This is characterised by an itchy or burning sensation at the edge of the foil. If you notice that you are having an allergic reaction, remove the plaster immediately and carefully wash off the tattoo. Then simply continue with the following care instructions.

Avoid direct sunlight, sauna, solarium, sea and chlorinated water, shower gel, shampoo, make-up, other perfumed lotions or shaving near your tattoos. The tattoo should not be softened when you take a bath, for example. After 1-2 days after removing the patch, the old layer of skin will peel away from the tattoo. It will come off on its own and must not be scraped off under any circumstances.

The tattoo should be washed off with fresh water at least twice a day, more often if necessary, and then moisturised with the recommended care cream, Bepanthen or marigold ointment. Jojoba oil or coconut oil are also suitable for care. These are only our recommendations; we accept no responsibility for side effects or intolerances. Vaseline, Bepanthen+, Nivea or products containing zinc oxide should not be used under any circumstances.

During the healing phase, your tattoo will start to itch a little. In this case, wash it with water and apply cream again. Do not scratch under any circumstances, as this can cause skin irritation. Only wear clean clothing over the fresh tattoo and only touch it with clean hands. Treat it as gently as possible, so be careful with bra straps, trouser or sock cuffs etc.

Skin irritation, redness and swelling are usually temporary.
If you notice anything unusual, please contact us and we will take another look at your tattoo. Please be so kind as to let us know if you are unhappy with the tattoo result. We will make every effort to satisfy you. About 3 weeks after the healing phase, a tattoo can be reworked if colour pigments have not settled properly or have come loose.

We would like to thank you for your trust and always look forward to new projects and recommendations.
