Bio
My name is Verena aka Stranded Ghost and I am a tattoo artist based in vienna, austria. I started tattooing in 2015 and gained experience as studio resident, on guest spots and conventions before i felt comfortabe to work in my private shop for over three years. Since 2022 i am part of the studio collective “Rage in a Cage”, which i founded with two colleagues. Every few weeks you can also find me in my sisters shop “Strich und Nadel” in Tyrol.
My style would be best described as illustrativ, mostly black, solid yet delicate.
I really do like dark but also cute, dreamy tattoo designs with a melancholic twist.
In 2021 i started to handcraft woodcut reliefs which eventually served as flash inspiration and were transformed into tattoos. Given my instagram handle, I of course established tattooing many ghosts in any shape and form. Now I can look back on a huge collection of everything from various insect ghosts to biscuit or mushroom ghosts.
